Why don't you tell us a little bit about how you wound up there, Corey, and like your business and what made you move down?
Yeah, for sure.
So it was the pandemic, and I was feeling trapped.
I'd always, uh, since I was little, I always wanted to live somewhere tropical.
It just felt like me.
So during the pandemic, I'm went to Miami for a month, and I was like, "Okay, this is great," but I couldn't get my visa.
And I, I started learning about this thing like digital nomads, and I was like, "I could be one of those.
I'm working online." And I searched online, where's the cheapest place? 'Cause this, at this time I was that young, hungry, struggling entrepreneur.
Where's the cheapest place that I can move where there's a bunch of other digital nomads? And Playa del Carmen was one of those places.
So I came here, uh, built a community here, and yeah, the rest is history.
The business that I was working on, you know, I'm no longer working on it.
I exited that, and now, you know, accidentally, I'm working on a virtual talent business, outsourcing business, and we help, uh, founders and business owners connect with the right talent.
And we, we look at things like personality, work style, communication style, and ensure that the individual you're working with is, is right for you, and you vibe with them, 'cause that's really what it comes down to.
So yeah, it's been super fun and super accidental, but yeah, it's super fulfilling.

One, we used to vacation in Playa del Carmen every year when I was a teenager, and I loved that place.

Two, I like that you're validating how important fit is, and it's the intangible, more human element that actually makes the make or break of like talent placement, 'cause we are wholesale in agreement.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know, it's, I mean, the, the, I wrote a post about this today, but the people that you meet when you're doing this type of work, the people you get to work with, they're amazing.
They have goals.
