James McCollGuestLukeHostNeilHostDaveHostI'm going to...
Dave, what do you reckon? What's Wikipedia going to say?
Scottish indie rock.
No. Oh, yeah, kind of.
Guitar-based indie rock band from Glasgow, Scotland.
There we go.
There we go.
All right.
All right.
So, yes, Glasgow, 1991.
They formed.
We talk about it quite a lot in the interview, but they started out basically self-recording and... put out two really kind of DIY cassette-only albums that they'd made and put together themselves.
The first one was called Big Seven.
How many tracks on that do you reckon?
Nine?
Good guess is seven tracks, I'm afraid.
That was in 1993.
Yeah,
yeah.
And then the second album, I guess it's an album, right? The second album came out the same year called Dark Star.
But again, these are just like cassette only, self-produced, sold at gigs and all of that.
But apparently, as you talked about in the interview, they did sell quite a lot.
And they're on Bandcamp now and anyone can listen to them.
They sound like a perfectly formed indie pop band that they are, you know.
