We're tackling a question that I don't think people ask themselves enough, and when they do, I don't know that they answer it honestly, at least in an informed way, and that question is, are you actually training hard enough? Look, so many of us invest time every single week, week over week, month over month on our fitness goals.
And we need to ask ourselves, in those containers, in that, in that limited time that we're investing, are we actually pushing ourselves with effort as much as we should? And there is really important reasons why we should be training, quote unquote, "hard," subjectively hard.
And the terminology I'm gonna kinda orient you to is moderate activity, vigorous activity, and whatnot.
So we're gonna unpack what it means to train hard, why that matters, and the benefits to your overall health and health span that come with, uh, training hard.
And we'll get into that, and hopefully you leave this episode with a lot of knowledge that you can apply starting today or even next week to make sure that you're training hard enough to get the benefits, um, that you need.
