538: The ONLY way to learn 2 languages at the same time

So today we're gonna be talking about this old chestnut, learning two languages at the same time.

We have two questions on this that's come from, uh, from a recent video.

The first is from, uh, Layin Chaos, who says, "Is it fine to learn both Serbian and Mongolian at the same time? I mean, they're not in the same language family." And then another one from ISF K48, "Can I learn Spanish and Hebrew at the same time? It's radically different." So long-term listeners will be very familiar with my take on learning two languages at the same time.

But let's address this specifically, right? So we've got, uh, Layin Chaos who's asking about Serbian and Mongolian.

I mean, I would love to have an insight into your life.

[laughs] Where does the desi- Serbian and Mongolian, I mean, that's a crazy combination.

I mean, I've never heard that before.
