Christina AaliyahHostHi guys, my name is Brittany.
I make $30,000 a month.
I do not work a nine to five.
I think working a nine to five is a scam.
Seeing people spend freely on Instagram or hearing about someone who's done a business class flight, even though it has nothing to do with you, it kind of hurts because when people can really comfortably say yes to themselves, it reminds you of how often you say no to yourself.
And I only ever really treat myself a couple times a year and even then i often treat myself on a gift card i have learned the skill of saving money like i am a saver that's the first thing i do every month i definitely believe in paying yourself first however i've never really learned the skill of spending money or enjoying money because that is a skill i think
a lot of personal finance gurus would consider me bad with my money but here's what i think they're getting wrong about people in their 20s we want to have fun We want to enjoy our 20s.
So in this video, I kind of wanted to unpack, I guess, the art of spending money or the art of wasting money in your 20s.
And I almost feel like I am on track to do that because it's what comes naturally to me.
A study actually found that money can buy happiness if you're buying things aligned with your values.
I worked as a doctor for over a year and I never ever met someone on their deathbed who said, I wish I saved more.
