Well, it's time.
Good to be back.
I feel like everything's kind of aligning for the start of the new season of the podcast for Steelhead season, season three.
The weather's been beautiful.
We've had some 40-degree temps already in the nights, getting those cool mornings, getting darker.
Starting to feel like your fall season, fall season, but you know me, I, I jump right into Steel season pretty quickly, and I feel like we're there if...
We got a couple trips on the board locked in, weather depending, so you know, it feels even closer than, than what it is.
But, um, I'm ready to go.
And I already started, I was talking about this in the end of season two of the podcast, but I already started tying up a bunch of leaders.
I got into it a little bit early this year.
I've already started on the vice.
I've been twisting up some new patterns, some new colors I was sending your guys' way, which I'm excited about.
You know, if, I guess if I'm gonna start there, something that I'm excited about this new season is to kind of just test some new stuff, test some new patterns.
We saw a new knot, right? I'm, I don't know if I'm testing that on-
Yeah
...
Steelhead water, but that knot is saucy.
That was pretty crazy.
Yeah.
Right, on the water.
I don't know what the name of it was, but it's like a modified blood knot, in a sense.
Yeah.
Again, I don't think I'm testing that on Steelhead, but I'll, I do wanna test that in on trout in the future.
I'd rather battle test it on a lighter fish than on a Steelhead, just to, just to make sure.
You don't wanna do that, like, your first one.
