Sony Manning | Has He Said And Will He Not Do It | 30 August | St Peter's Brighton

I want to take a moment and name attention.

I was processing today, my message today is all about God's character, all about the unchanging nature of God and God's fulfilled promises.

And I completely understand that can feel really weird in a time like this, especially off the back of an event like what happened at Big Church or what's happening in Nepal or what's happening in the Middle East.

So I just want to name that.

It It can feel weird to be like, oh yeah, God's awesome and God's promise never changes.

But yeah, all this bad stuff is happening in the world.

And yeah, I completely get that and I wrestle with that.

Please don't leave here today if you have those questions without asking someone.

As Dan said, we have Alpha coming in October and churches all over.

the country run alpha.

Please take yourself to it and ask those questions.

God does not despise doubt.

I remember this quote, doubt isn't the opposite of faith.

It's when you have it all figured out.

So hold that and walk with it.

I want to take a moment and name attention.
