I mean, I think it hit a niche of dancers that I maybe were underrepresented artistically.

I was like, what do I want to talk about? I try to be very relaxed in terms of like getting organization together.

And I think that organizational structure goes really far with this kind of work in dancers.
And I feel like we have similar kind of hopes and dreams for the city of St. Louis.
But when I started St. Louis Dance HQ it was because I saw all these separate bubbles of companies and dancers and like nobody really knew what was going on outside of their own very specific bubbles.
So I think my favorite thing about Space Station is that it is a space that dancers from these different bubbles come together to create something for the sake of creating, not so driven by like final performance necessarily.
