We Hear From The Representatives-VOTE IN NOVEMBER

So when you are reelected.

Yes.

What are the things that you want to work on in the next two years?

So the first bill I'm going to refile is my personal property tax reduction.

That is a true tax cut that will save people money over time.

The second bill will curb the growth of real property tax.

So homeowners can count on what their bill is going to be and that it's not going to explode over time.

Beyond that, I've got bills to help parents find safer daycares.

We're going to work on flock cameras and actually holding law enforcement responsible should they misuse flock cameras.

And I know that's a pretty controversial issue.

There's a lot of bills are going to be filed to actually eliminate flock cameras.

Yay.

I'm just not sure whether there's going to be the votes to actually eliminate them.

I know I'd vote in favor of that bill myself.

However, I know that we have the votes to punish those who misuse the system and actually hold them accountable, raise the bar from a misdemeanor to a felony.

Well, if anybody watched the Post-Dispatch this past week, there was an article.

Nobody does that.

I know, but some do, either online or in paper.

There was an article about this shooter on Highway 70 the week before, and they caught him in— 48 hours? Yeah, 48 hours

because of the flock cameras.

Absolutely.

And he was pretty slick.

If you read the story, he was changing license plates, and they still got him.

The reason being he had a sticker on the back of his car and a license plate frame that was unique.

And so they matched the two up.
