Karen GreenbergHostBut first there are, uh, important new developments in our corner of the intelligence world, and I'd first like to talk a little bit about an extraordinary piece that Julia Kirley, our guest on last week's podcast, wrote at The Atlantic magazine.
Loyal listeners will remember that, uh, Kirley was a top intelligence analyst at the CIA.
She was so highly regarded that she was a White House briefer on all manner of subjects from the Middle East to Ukraine to terrorism.

Excuse me, Mike Pence, you know, the, uh, the [laughs] rock-ribbed Republican bastion of religious evangelism, uh, he said he just sort of shrugged and went along, you know? He liked Julia as a really great, uh, briefer.
I saw, you know, she was saying she was grateful for, uh, how Pence... how tolerant Pence was.

Uh, starting with, uh, uh, the ODNI, you know, not liking the intelligence board's conclusion on Trin d'Agua, saying it was not an invasion of the United States.
