Colby Does HorrorHostyeah yeah i think for me like i i noticed like right when i got into it like one i think i've told you this before aaron but like playground was my first you know, splatterpunk slash extreme, extreme, something that was way darker and more fucked up than anything else that I had ever written.
I remember seeing it like going through like books of horror and it was starting to get really popular.
Uh, but again, it was my first and I remember sitting there thinking like, how the fuck can people write things like this, but not in a negative way.
Uh, and that was kind of like, I'd always had sort of like, you know, ideas for books, but I didn't know like what you could really get away with.
Um, All that being said, when I wrote Made a Monster, my focus was more on the quality of it.
And it almost felt like cash grabby to pump out a bunch of things back to back to back.
Create what you want to create, be authentic, you know, write what is like hitting you and turn that into your work.

You talk about like release schedule and like how quickly you're releasing stuff type of shit.
Like I'd rather take more time between releases and like really have a fully fleshed out idea.
Cause like I have a bunch of like short stories that I've written that are like going nowhere right now.
I think like I just like my focus personally is just the quality and like kind of staying in my lane, I guess.

So that's a good quality to have because most people are just like trying to crank stuff out.
