If you've been praying for Revival in your family but you are starting to wonder what you are actually supposed to do, this episode is going to take you back to the biblical foundation for revival in…
Maybe it was episode number two.
But obviously, if you think of it, it's bringing something dead back to life.
And God has been showing me this last year that it's even bringing parts of me I didn't know existed and breathing life onto them.
It's uncovering things, kind of like the fire.
We had to move the ash off of the hot coals so that the oxygen could get to it.
Life could be breathed into it.
and it could spark again.
And so what happens is just like that fire that happens overnight, that it stops burning, the ash covers it up, it's still hot under there, but it's covered up.
Sometimes it might even just be completely dead if we got rain, right? If we got rain, there's no bringing it back.
We just got to start a brand new fire.
So what happens is we become spiritually dry or distant.
And wouldn't you say that most of our culture, even most of the Christians have become spiritually dry or distant? Yeah.
Yeah, I was spiritually dry and distant.
There was like this distance, this chasm I couldn't seem to cross.
And then number two, so what happens after that? God initiates, he calls, he starts to build that desire.
And it may come through pain.
It may come just from a desire.
It may come from hearing someone else's testimony, but he initiates and he starts to call.
And then his people, we are humbled.
We humble ourselves.
We seek him.
And then he is able to ignite something within us.
