Uh, it's funny because even before starting, uh, the recording, I told you, "I just feel like I know you, but I don't know you." Because in, in my prep, in my research, I just learned so much more, and I wanna jump into that.

I assume you learned firsthand about what it takes to run real estate, to run a hotel, an operating business.

Can you talk a little bit about what you learned by watching your parents and, and, and just helping them out?
I mean, it was actually kinda cool living in a motel growing up because we had a pool, you know? [laughs] Like, independently.
Uh, I mean, obviously it was a little, it was a little interesting, but in my entire life, I think of things as glass is always full in a way.
... growing up, I learned a lot about hustle, about recycling things, and, like, being scrappy and fixing things and...
You know, we wouldn't do that today, but back then and when I started my business, you know, it was scrappy because we had very few resources.
And so I think being just resourceful is the biggest thing I learned, uh, without being wasteful.
