Bus pick a lap into an empty dimlet stream This is somebody's hometown Absence makes the heart grow fonder Look around, I have to walk Like a fish out on the water, like a kite with nine wings Like a fish out on the water, like a kite with nine wings I can hardly breathe, there's a weight up on my chest Feels like it's pushed me down and it's sucking out my breath I don't want to see.
I've been looking for the heart of town.
Like a fish out of the water Like a kite without a breeze Like a fish out of the water Like a kite without a breeze Tell me, did you see the gold of payment? Was I dreaming? I didn't believe And if you're riding on the wall Or just sitting on the fence Like a fish out
of the water, like a kite

Like a fish out of the water, like a kite without a breeze.
That was King, named after frontman Paul King, and the opening track, Fish, from their debut album Steps in Time.
Do you remember King? You probably remember their biggest hit, Love and Pride, also from that album, which actually got to number two in the UK charts in 1984.
And if you watched MTV in Britain back in the late 80s and early 90s, you will certainly remember Paul King himself, who was one of the on-screen presenters for MTV when it launched in Europe, along with another former rock star, Richard Jobson, previously the frontman for Scottish punk band The Skids.
King and the band were in part the brainchild of Perry Haynes, a face around town in those halcyon days of the early 1980s, as an early contributor to ID magazine, a club promoter, and subsequently as the image consultant for Duran Duran.
They'd previously been known as the Reluctant Stereotypes, but Haynes overhauled their image and also engineered a very successful promotional partnership with the bootmaker Dr. Martens.
King himself joined MTV in 1989, eventually going behind the camera as a producer for its sister channel VH1 in the mid-1990s.
And he now works, according to Dr. Google, he now works primarily as a property developer in Spain.
In the band's heyday, Paul King was instantly recognisable for his chiselled features and elaborate quiff.
