But what do we make of this? He's got more points than anyone else, so it doesn't matter.

But the absolute number of points scored is down, but it's down for pretty much all the players.

So it's not just that people are getting fewer points, if you see what I mean, or it's a combination of the two things.
So there's-- The, the chart we've got on screen just for the audio listeners is, um, the top FPL point scorers.
I've got the average of the, the top five each season, the top 10 each season, top 20 each season, top 50.
So they're, you know, over the season getting somewhere around 230, 240 points on average.
... we had Salah at like 340 and then quite a few around 200, but actually it's been fairly steady.
Um, top 10's a little over 200, top 20 is a little under 200, and the top 50 kind of, you know, the pool of players we're normally looking at, you're probably looking to try and get 160 points a season or at least that kind of rate out of them.
'Cause you're gonna hop around them and there'll be players who've been really good who are injured for half the season, so they don't get this many over the whole season, but they have spells of being good picks.
Um, you know, and, and obviously we've got one game week to go, so they'll go a little higher, but there's a very marked trend of I think, yeah, the top players as a whole have scored fewer points.
So there's a-- I think I did look at how many points like total, so all players all together, and that's dropped not as much.
It's dr- it has dropped in terms of the total points by all 650 players or however many there are.
Um, so we see that there's been a drop in the points, but there's also been a slight spread in the points.
So actually the top five and the top 10 are getting a smaller portion of the total points available, if that makes sense.
