Okay, Carrie? I got to get off my chest.
Young and the Restless fans, I'm going to say this one more time.
Because y'all know I love y'all.
Y'all know – you know, we've been through the good, the bad, and the ugly.
But I have to tell y'all something.
Okay? Y'all ready? Jamie and Dan stuff don't happen until October, September, October.
And I thought that was pretty clear when I tweeted, when we said it, and everything else in between.
So if you are a new person to this, because it's also about the – something's about to go over days, too.
That's going to be kind of the same thing I'm talking about, is when the show gets new writers – Unless they're already currently on the writing team and get bumped up, they don't necessarily have the material already planned out and on air that week.
I'm going to use general hospital for men for what I just now said about unless you're on the writing team.
Some of you guys remember when Chris and Dan was let go, Elizabeth, who was on the writing team, got bumped up to, quote, unquote, try to get as much stuff taken care of before the overturn.
Y'all remember this.
Well, Dan and Jamie has to assess what's what and then figure out what is going to be this and what is going to be that.
It takes a while, you guys.
And it kind of coincides in the sense that CBS's new season of TV shows happened around September, October.
Okay.
Over in Days Without Lies, you guys know that Ron Kwan is back over there, that him and Jeannie Ford are going to be starting to write the shows.
Well, they're already starting, and we won't see the material until, you guessed it, next year.
However, Jeannie is still there.
So some of the stuff that was overturned to Ryan and her, she just continued, and they kind of, how can I say this, took the ins to the outs, if that makes sense.
So I want to say this one more time.
Whenever a new writer comes onto the show, It's not quick, like quick, like, okay, they got hired, the announcement was made on Thursday, their new stuff starts on Monday.
It does not go down like that.
When a show is in the current state they're in, it is because of who's currently there or who is already, or what stories already got greenlit by studio, network.
If you catch That's Awesome with Steve and Bradford, they actually kind of explained it a little bit.
