Retcons.

But, uh, spoiler, the reason the other Gambit is there is, like, he wants to save the Morlocks.

He wants to make good for having worked for Mr. Sinister back in the day, help the Marauders, that whole Retcon thing that went on.

Yeah.

And as usual, this is just another, like, Steve Orlando diving deep into continuity, picking something out, and being like, "What can we do about that?" And-

But Rogue Squadron was like the snow speeders in Empire Strikes Back.

That was Rogue Squadron, which Retcon took their name from Rogue One.

Okay.

So they named themselves after that, but the fighter pilot squadron was going to be the whole focus of the movie.

Okay.
