Thorin and Mauisnake are joined by returning guest AN1MO to open on FaZe collapsing again, with the crew arguing that TwistzZ should never have been handed the in-game leader role in a team this thin…
Okay, we will start as usual with the spicier topic.
So in a classic heel turn, Maui wants to start.
And just listen to the team he's going to play now.
So where are we starting, Maui? What don't you like in CS? What's bad at the moment, mate?
I mean, I feel like the writing was on the wall for this.
It was obviously a roster that didn't live up to the name brand expectations and phase are just, they fall in.
So, so far, uh, they just came in last place at the stake ranked episode four events.
That is, that just is taking place right now.
They lost an Amiga in their opening round matchup.
And the, For a team that was supposed to be, at the beginning of the season, the best cash team, they are looking so far behind practically any competitor at this point.
I mean, they don't necessarily pick it all the time, which is one thing, but also versus Astralis, they were just completely outplayed there.
And I'm just going to go through the players one by one here because... jacob is just a horrible trade fragger okay like this guy does not react to stimuli okay someone can kill his teammate near him and he just still is acting like he's on an entry route that has been commanded to him in whatever time they spent in the server or the practice time and he doesn't react it happened multiple times versus astralis it's crazy that he's still doing this with what like near Really, actually, I think he has over a year of Tier 1 experience under his belt at this point.
And it's actually just kind of crazy that he's been getting this kind of pass for so long.
Actually, just look, he's been on the team for 406 days.
I feel like we were talking about Jacob potentially getting kicked after the first season, but because of a slight overperformance at the Budapest Major, then he got to stick around for a little bit longer.
And he really hasn't recaptured any form that's been relevant or similar to that since then.
So that's a huge it's been a huge downturn for him.
And the cope I see online for Jacob is that he's being sent on bad routes.
It's like he gets to go in second sometimes.
Literally, Twist is running in first before him, and he still doesn't get trade kills that seem rudimentary.
And legitimately, I understand what people are saying, FaZe in particular, when they said, oh, trust me, in practice, this guy's great.
Because there was one round when he was playing against Astralis where he gets three deagle kills out of nowhere.
And yeah, those little moments you say, wow, okay, the aim is on display, but God almighty, he is so worthless on so many important rounds that the one pop-off does not make up for it.
Then I'll go through the other people.
