But am I right in saying that there's payroll changes coming up that people need to know about? Is that true? Could you talk a little bit about that?

Yeah, there's quite a few payroll changes, some really key ones that are coming up.

And I think employers especially need to be aware of the risks that if they're non-compliant with some of the regulations that it could be picked up.

And also the changes in the way people report their PBIQ, so P11D information, it's going to be payrolled as of April next year.
And you mentioned compliant there, so there's compliancy issues to do with payroll as well.
Again, I don't know much about that.
Could you elaborate on that a little bit?

So what everybody does know about payroll is we all receive a paycheck at the end of the month and a payslip.

Otherwise we wouldn't be here, would we? So, yes, so everybody knows that there is payroll.

But as you say, the context behind it, people don't really think about what goes into that.

So from a compliance perspective, you'll be looking at things like national minimum wage.

So that's not just the rate that the government sets for national minimum wage.

So we have to assist our clients in making sure that they are paying the right amounts to the right people.

So if a young person changes age with their birthday during the course of the year, all of a sudden they may have to have an automatic pay increase because they need to meet the National Women Wage for that category.
