So looking for Terry, a memoir, what was it like revisiting the memories and parts of your life that helped you write this book?

It was actually, that's why it's called Looking for Terry, because, you know, I did find him.

I did find him.

But I had to go through a lot to find him.

And when I started writing this book, this is the first book I've done in 21 years.

I did the book because I like writing books.

And I thought I had some things to share with you.

with people, especially, there's a younger audience out there now that doesn't even know who I played for in the NFL.

Some don't even know I played in the NFL.

And I thought, you know what, this'll be a good book.

And perhaps it's the last book I ever write, maybe not.

I just want to share with you, look, here I am.

I'm Terry Bradshaw.

I never started at quarterback in junior high school.

I started one year in junior high.

Never started but one year in high school my senior year.

I signed with LSU, I flunked the ACT test, I passed the SAT test, signed up with Louisiana Tech.

I'm known for a javelin, throwing the javelin, more so than I was playing football in high school.

This book, I'm gonna let you know that I'm a man that deals daily with depression.

I'm a man that's been divorced three times.

And I sought help for my marriages and I sought help for depression.

And I'm most proud that I had the courage to seek that help because the depression was sickening, and I hated it, and I didn't know what it was, and I certainly didn't know how to deal with it.

And the divorces, I felt that God put me on this earth.

He didn't put me here to be by myself.

He gave us one man, and I knew that I could find happiness if I cleaned myself up and cut the chain of the kind of person that I was.
