So going back to you growing up, what are your earliest memories of food as you grew up in your family?
We would go to a vegetable market to get all our veggies and fruits on a weekly basis.
We had fishermen that would come and sell the catch of the day on a weekly basis.
My father used to go hunting and the only thing that we would buy would be things like UHT milk and corn flakes and sugar and flour and that was sort of it.
So anything that was cooked at home was always cooked from scratch.
The cheese, my mum used to go to a farmer, buy milk, make yogurt, butter, cheese from it.
So one Bulgarian grandmother that we would go and visit every summer.
So... yeah very very lucky to have grown up in that environment and i still to this day i love a farmer's market or any market um my husband and my daughter always get dragged to to a farmer's market

Um, comparatively to what fish and meat cost nowadays, I don't think it's more expensive.
I mean, um, beans and pulses, whole foods are not that expensive from a, uh, from a price point of view.
