What are some small daily rituals that you implement into your day to ensure that you maintain wellness?
24:25
This is really interesting in terms of the world that we're living in now and everything that we're being shown on social media is... all about all the things that you do before you even wake up.
24:39
And there's like 15 things that you sort of peel off yourself.
24:43
I am much more inclined to do the opposite and actually take a breath, take it easy.
24:52
One of my go-to things is If you're looking at your phone and that's the first thing that you do before you even get out of bed and you're looking at your emails, you've essentially started work.
25:04
Are you getting paid for that? Because while you are making your breakfast, while you're spending time with your family, I am pretty sure that you'll be thinking about the replies and the emails that you're supposed to be writing and you've already started your work day.
25:20
So one of my biggest tips is to not look at your phone when you wake up in the morning and really have that hour with your whoever it is whether it's a flatmate your family your friends take that moment to have a nice start to your day whether it's making yourself a nice cup of tea or a coffee or breakfast um cooking for yourself as an act of nourishment and wellness and kindness to yourself so that's one of the key points i'd say um and it can be really really easy um walking getting off the tube two stops earlier walk into work um having a good night's sleep again put your phone away

What would be your top foodie hacks for busy families?
3:27
Was there a point where you knew food was going to become more than a profession and become a way for you to engage with the world?
3:35
That's a really interesting question.
3:37
I think for me, it was probably the other way around.
3:41
I always cooked from a very early age, I think probably from six years old, and always wanted to work with food, but didn't really get to.
3:50
So I did a degree in food and beverage and hotel management, basically.
3:56
And then I got to start working with food when I was 27 and quit my job and decided to run wellness retreats with a business partner.
4:06
We couldn't find a chef to cook on the retreat, so I decided to cook on it.

And in a culture that encourages us always to consume more, what have we lost in our relationship with resourcefulness?
