Shall Not Be Infringed w/ Aaron Tarlow [Ep 60]

So we're entering into the fall season.

And we're getting into, like, my favorite time, right? Like, we've got, you know, turkey, and we've got deer hunting and everything going on.

But then we also have my birthday, which is November 11th, which is Veterans Day.

And so Tom and I were actually talking about Armistice Day off the air.

And then kind of off the air, we've also been talking about what we want to do.

We want to do a special Veterans Day episode.

And so if you – this is a request – For anybody out there in Radio Land, if you have a World War II vet in your life and they're willing, we would absolutely love to sit down and talk with them about their service in that time.

Also looking for Korea, Vietnam.

And then even some of our modern our modern warriors, too.

I do have a lead on a gentleman and I'm not going to say anything as I've not approached him yet.

But I did get a number and I read his bio because he is very well known.

And I was like, we've got to talk to this guy.

So the tentative plan, folks, is since November 11th falls on a Wednesday, I think we should have two shows honoring our veterans.

That's just my opinion.

That's very humble.

And so if, again, you have a World War II or Korea or Vietnam veteran, World War II, I would really love to talk with them because I think that's history we need to preserve.

And I have some things that I've pulled out from my grandfather's time in service.

He went in in World War II and was a lifer.

And after Army life in World War II, he went into the Air Force.

And so I've been doing a little research on him and everything he did in there.

And so we'll share more about that in upcoming episodes.
