Set The Tempo Postgame: Toronto Tempo Fall to Fever 103-85 | Three Games Left & Lottery Stakes Rise

Toronto Tempo Fall 103 to 85 to the Indiana Fever.

And if the tank-a-thon wasn't on before, it is certainly on now.

I guess the biggest news is that Marina Mabry will not play the remainder of this WNBA season.

She's done for the year, so that's on the shelf for the year.

Marina Mabry, Brittany Sykes, and Anissa Morrow.

Just, oh, you know.

arguably three of your three best players, three of your best four, anyways, along with Kiki Rice and, of course, Niara Sabali.

So the tempo dropped the game to the Indiana Fever, but it was actually kind of close.

It was closer than you would think.

In the process, Kelsey Mitchell sets the single-season record held by Asia Wilson for most points scored in a season.

She finished this one, man, 33 points.

On 12 of 17 shooting, that's 0.71%, and was 7 of 11 from 3.

Caitlin Clark in this one, oh, just 28 points, 14 assists.

An annoying comment.

I know she's...

I guess she's...

I don't particularly care for Caitlin Clark.

But after the game, she says, this is the first time I've ever heard birds chirping in an arena, so we got that going for you, Toronto.

Hopefully we play in Scotiabank from now on.

And it's like, who...

Are you like? Yes, they play in a smaller venue.

Yes, they don't play in the biggest venue in Toronto yet.

But just all of her comments, I don't know if she's trying to be sarcastic or trying to be funny, but it's just not.

And it just constantly comes off as like she just has this arrogance and air about her that I don't particularly care for.

Coca-Cola Coliseum is a great venue, and it's one that I think the Temple are very happy to call home.
