Nyara Sabally

I think like that was a little bit of a consensus around, but no, I mean like I saw a comment in the chat here, like the macho baddies were born.

coffee shops are visited maria condé loves a good cafe we know marina maybe has her uh reviews we know like near saudi with like the matcha like just we know like all across the board uh they really embrace the city and i think like it really is gonna bode well for i guess like the response reaction for like even like looking at different players and maybe coming here

Yeah, I mean, it's...

And I mean, yeah, you said it.

So first let me tell you what happened.

During the Toronto Tempo versus Atlanta Dream game on the 18th, Tempo's Nayara Sabali left the game with a rib injury after fouling Reese on an offensive rebound.

As officials reviewed the call, Frondello, frustrated with the officiating, was picked up on Mike yelling, Angel, she's a protected species.

Now, Reese initially responded on X with, are we surprised, and a clown emoji.

Is this the type of person you want to represent, you know, players in a league that was built on the backs of predominantly black women, right? So those are the things.

She would have to show me something different for me to essentially believe her.

And the other thing, if I can go back to the top point, is when I set up this story, I said that Tempo's Nayara Sabali left the game with a rib injury after fouling Reese.

Not that Reese filed her, she filed Reese on an offensive rebound.

There's no Anissa Morrow.

There's no Niara Sabali.

There's no Brittany Sykes.

So, as you can imagine, that's the way she goes.

Some tempo content here.

We had Niara Sabali.

have a really nice, uh, tournament for Germany and a nice game as well.

13 and two, uh, assists for rebounds.

I thought she was the perfect fit for a new organization.

You know, Nyara Sabally, I thought that was a, you know, having championship experience.

All the way down to, like, Izzy Harrison, I, I think she's a great contributor.

And then I love the pick of Kiki Rice.

[laughs] If you ask my teammates, that's what they'll tell you.

Um, but I knew that Nyara Sabally had been a part of the book club in the New York Liberty, um, team last year.

And so when we kinda came in to this whole new organization, everybody was new, whether you're being picked up from an expansion draft or you're coming in from free agency or just drafted.

Um, and so there was just kind of this level of, like, getting to know everybody, and I knew that about her and I knew I liked books.

So we'll see, but Germany can definitely use a lot of that home crowd to their advantage.

And another team that is just very disciplined in themselves, and they have some r- really great length, a lot down low, looking between, like, a Nyara Sabally, a L- Leonie Fiebich as well who has really been a leader for this team.

Almost makes you wonder if Satou Sabally was able to play for this group what their ceiling could be in this tournament.

But right now they are over-exceeding expectations, I think you could say.

Satu Sabali.

I mean, her sister's not on the Liberty anymore, but I could say Niara Sabali as

well.

Cool.
