It could be worse, and it is worse, in that the team announced yesterday that Brittany Sykes and Anissa Morrow will miss the remainder of the season.
So those hopes and dreams of a clean injury report for at least one game is gone.
Because last night they had played without Brittany Sykes, Anissa Morrow, Nyara Sabali, Maria Conde, and Marina Mabry.
I would also not be too surprised if we learned pretty soon that they're going to rule Marina Mabry out for the remainder of this season as well.
When you look at their remaining schedule, they're at Seattle and then they're at Vegas and Phoenix.
It could be the deciding factor between who is first in the lottery odds, which gives you a 34 versus a 25% chance at that first overall pick.
But you look at that and you go, especially if Mabry doesn't play, like maybe they beat Seattle and maybe they beat Connecticut.
