The Tempo don't end up winning, but we saw a great game, 22 points from Marina Mabrey.
Didn't have the best shooting night, going just 6 of 15, but she finishes with 15 points, three free throws, three for three.
She also had five assists and two rebounds, and boy, oh, boy, was it nice [clears throat] to have Slim back in the lineup for this one.
She'd missed the first game against, uh, the Connecticut Sun after the trade, so it was the first game at home for Anisa Morrow, and she played well.
She didn't start, but she did play 10 more minutes than Laura Uzkite, so a nice bench presence there, and 16 rebounds.
Because what's been lacking from this Tempo team all season long? Rebounding, and they needed it tonight, because they were without Julie Almond, they were without Maria Conde, and they were without Nyara Sabally, who is injured once again, of course.
So their front court was going to be Uzkite, it was going to be Anisa Morrow, and it was going to be Izzy Harrison and Tammy Feagns-Malley, and all of them actually played pretty well.
Feagns-Malley, in 19 and a half minutes, finishes five of six for 13 points and three rebounds.
I mean, I know the bar isn't incredibly high, but I think still her best game of the season for them.
She has eight points to go along with seven rebounds, because it was a tough night for Laura Uzkite, their starting power forward, who went O of four from the field, including O of three from three, two of four from the free throw line, and finishes with just two points and six rebounds.
