Keith PocheGuestWith that, we have a couple things on the docket for some business from the Bass Boat.
Um, so you guys can get a little, if you, if you tune into our Fantasy Fishing shows past couple years, you can get a little Deacon-less, She-acon comments going in the chat if you'd like.
Um, but a couple things for you guys, and that is one, I don't know if you seen, it sounds like Ranger is about to be coming out with something here, uh, brand new.
They've been having their pro staff kinda talk about some things, kinda giving little hints here and there.
Hopefully, it's pretty intuitive and different, uh, than some of the launches we have been seeing.
As well as we talked about a little bit on our Reel Biology segment, and we will talk about it further with Steve on a new show, but there's a new study that came in evaluating some of the things on forward-facing sonar, especially in tournament usage.
Um, and basically, this study broke down that forward-facing allows you to catch more fish, but they found that anglers using forward compared to anglers using, uh, no forward, there was no difference, zero difference, when it comes to catch size.
Uh, so something interesting there, just that your catch rate, the quantity goes up with forward versus without.
Uh, as of yesterday, um, $103 million was granted, uh, excuse me, awarded to, uh, the NOAA funding, uh, uh, efforts to restore habitat for fisheries.
So, there's gonna be 16 new projects across the country, um, to allow fish to have access in high-quality habitats to sustain populations.
As you guys know, if you listen to our show, especially with Steve, on the Reel Biology, we talk about how important habitat is to fish.
