Want a job in Republican politics? Dustin Tropp, the headhunter who runs republicanjobs.gop, has placed more than 3,500 people in GOP jobs and says entry-level D.C. staffers are now starting at…
My recent op-ed in the Houston Chronicle is going to flash the headline here where you can check it out.
Last week, I talked on what Beaufort said a little bit about how he looked at a snapshot of the crowd, made all these indignations about what the – made a lot of inferences from the people you could see in the foreground of that photo and went on his diatribe.
I took issue with it as a Longhorn, as a Texan, as an American, and wanted to call it out because I don't think it was right, and I don't think it's something that I can comfortably fit in the same team as Beau French.
Why would I be fighting against Republicans? None of this pushback is coming from people on their main accounts.
Because no one, and I'm talking to some people who would typically be on both sides, are generally on both sides of things.
Their gift to Beau is their silence on the issue, and no one wants to stake – and this is kind of a quote from the general feel – no one wants to stake their reputation on defending Beau French.
And that says a lot when you're talking about the identitarian right or the populist right or the kind of – Crazy right here in Texas.
They're not talking about what Bo said, what he believes and what he's doing because they know that it's terrible and that it's going to drag the ticket down as people talk and talk more about it.
And that's the reality of the situation is that we were already a weak ticket because of all the stuff that's gone on with who else we put on the ticket.
Why would I go against a Republican right now in this climate? And I ask my same question to Beau French.
Why did you go after the GOP? Republican constable in Fort Bend County, the one who represents me directly, the one whose law enforcement helps keep my family safe.
Why are you attacking him, not a month ago, for being third-worldly, even though he somehow makes more money than you do? Even though he made his, you inherited yours.
I don't know why you decided to make that attack, but you opened up, Beau opened up this schism on the right, in the Republican Party, by attacking people in Fort Bend County.
