Secret Life of the American Teenager: Falling in Love, Rewatching & Roasting
Jul 4, 2026 · 59 min · 13 segments
WE MADE IT!!! It's the last episode of Season 1!! We did it! Woo woo! After an entire season of speeches about abstinence, pregnancy, adoption, putting the baby in Mimsie's drawer, love triangles…
Okay, so opening this scene up, we are in the hospital room.
So Amy in the last episode was like this horrible cunt to her family.
It was so whiny.
Here she is in the hospital bed.
Hopefully she's gotten an epidural.
She's laying in her hospital bed with that giant pillow, which I'm sure Molly Ringwald will borrow later.
And essentially, because, Ashley, I have to love, in the notes you wrote, summary, nothing really happens, but Amy is in labor.
And, yeah, that's a good summary of the scene.
Just kidding.
Anyway, Amy's sleeping in the hospital room.
Everybody's kind of like, eh.
George complains that if this were 50 years ago, he'd be drinking at the bar, waiting for a phone call, not having to be in this hellhole.
And Ashley remarks, well, if it was 50 years ago, they'd tell everyone that Amy was at a music college in the Midwest.
Anne would be wearing the pillow and George exclaims, ah, the good old days.
And Ashley marks, ah, yes, the era of shame, which I had to laugh at.
So Anne runs away.
She gets a phone call.
It's probably Skipper who she's taking a dipper with.
But Ben then comes into the room and offers Amy some ice chips, which is so useful, I know.
Ben thinks that he should use the camcorder to record the birth, just like that terrible vlog that they made.
And Ashley tells him, stop being so gross and weird and awkward and stupid.
And so he kind of fucks off.
Anyways, the nurse says, hey, everyone, we can leave.
And Anne comes back and Anne suggests that they play music to have a rocking good time.
And also, too, I did have to laugh indeed that the nurse comes in.
