If I'm looking at something, and it could be a PowerPoint presentation I'm making for a pitch, and all the page numbers have to be perfect, the fonts have to match,
but I care.
So I'm really intrigued to understand...
Have you overcome that level of people pleasing or have you just found a way to use it to your ability? Sometimes it can be.

working till 12 a.m on a pitch deck yeah I'm sort of like my my my my successor at fair for all finance I used to drive her nuts with the like that shade is not the exact shade of our brand palette.

And she messaged me the other day, I was doing a PowerPoint presentation.

So I think there is, and it's interesting actually, because I think that actually some of it, I think now is merged into there are some things that I care about that I can control.

And sometimes just actually having that degree of, you know, visual, how things look and stuff, it matters to me and I can control that.

And as long as that's not too horrid for everyone else working around me, and they do give me feedback, I can manage that.

But I think the broader people pleasing, I think I've got much, much better at actually And I think this was the journey in terms of standing up for your values and really discovering about like, what do I care about in the legacy I leave for this world? What do I think are the standards I hold myself to? Who will I choose to work with and who do I choose not to work with? And so I think I'm just much, much stronger about that now and probably also sort of very happily embodying middle-aged woman energy.
