Pastor Rick Cloherty - "Leaving a Legacy of Faith" - 6 September 2026

And I want to challenge us today with no shame attached.

That we can leave such a legacy.

And it's not too late.

I just want to say that right now.

Even if you're 80 and you think I've left nothing, it's not too late to start your legacy today.

Because God's grace is good.

You've left a legacy, Christine.

You're like an original gangster of Seacoast.

We all leave a footprint.

We often thrive as growing adults and humans to want to leave.

You know, your children want your house.

They're wondering about your bank account.

So we build a legacy in our careers.

We lift up and build and get to a higher position and higher position as our knowledge and our skill set intertwines and goes bigger.

We desire the more, and that's fine.

But the spiritual legacy is what I want to dive into today.

You even leave, I was even thinking about this, the jobs that I've left over the years.

You actually get to leave a legacy because you're spending your time with these people.

You're developing relationships.

And how you leave a job is a legacy, I think.

Do you leave well? You know, I've been blessed to have pretty good bosses, but the second last one was so bad.

And he started to sack everyone.

And they're all like, Rick, he's coming for you.

And I'm like, nah, I've got good relationship with this guy.

He's a Christian.
