Today, as we've said, could have been a much heavier defeat.

Uh, it was, it was really underwhelming today from Motherwell.

Uh, I felt I was expecting a little bit more from them.

You know, Jens Berthel Askou set, set a standard last year, which is very difficult to live up to.

I'm not expecting the manager to come in this year and replicate that straight away.

Uh, Jens Berthel Askou is the exception to the rule.

He's not the, um, he's not the norm.

So the new manager, four defeats on the bounce.

Where they went wrong today, uh, I didn't really think they committed to a, a particular way of playing.

It was almost like they just accepted that Celtic were stronger than them, and they had that kind of mentality and attitude going in.

I'm sure that wasn't the case, and it- they would've worked during the week on how to hurt Celtic.

Didn't really come to fruition.

They were, you know, slack in possession, gave the ball away.

Even when they did get into the final third, wrong choices were made numerous times.

And if it wasn't for the goalkeeper, it really could have been four, five, six-nil.

So I think he needs to, he needs to be a little bit more, whether it's himself or the players need to be a little bit more assured in the instructions that they've been given because they seemed between, um, you know, pressing and, and, and sitting off, and they were hunting as individuals rather than in packs.

Celtic just played around them, and you've got to say, Celtic played very well.

I mean, Celtic with the team they've got, when they play well, it's, it's very difficult to stop, and, um, especially down the left-hand side.

I know Tunek he's had his fair share of critics, and not everything he did was perfect, but he always asked for the ball.

He crosses into the box, he hit the byline, he cut inside.

He asked questions of the, the defense, and then Duran on the other side scoring a lovely goal.

So, um, Motherwell struggled to live with it, whereas last year they probably would've been able to live with it.

So it's, it's food for thought for the manager.
