In 2023, we brought my mom, and that was a little bit different because I didn't give my mom clear boundaries, and she likes to sleep in, and it was just totally different.

Sometimes I would go for runs for like over two hours, two and a half hours.

I wouldn't even run that far to be honest because I'd be like exploring and like stopping and taking pictures and then I would come back and I just wasn't in the mood.

It was a transition period and so I was not super engaged or like feeling motivated and there was just so much to do in Europe that like I didn't want to work as much.

But in Costa Rica, the second week of our trip, we're just going to be in a small beach town.

And this is where I want to talk about this conversation is I could work, but I am choosing not to.

And I will admit that it has been, I even had my business coach coach me on this on our last mastermind call because she was like, well, why do you, I'm like, part of me is just wants to bring my laptop, even though I've already gotten coverage for my athletes and I've already communicated all this was part of me wants to bring my laptop so I can just work on projects or like if I want to write or if I want.

And she was like, what if you didn't do that? What if you just relaxed? And I was like, I, I like working.

So for me, it's like even though I was getting the coverage to have people, you know, so that my athletes know that I'm not checking in, I was still wrangling with this.

And I think this is something I think we all relate to because we love what we do.
