Kung Fury, leasing, and thicc crisps. Indie App Sales Event Begins Today with Over 200 Apps - MacStories…
One of them is that there is something called the Indie App Sales Event, which is going on today through the 30th.
And I raise it because there are a lot of good apps in there.
over 200 in fact and a lot of them are very uh very steeply disc discounted i mean many of them are i would say you know there's there's some that are over 50 off a lot of them in the 20s and 30s and 40s too so i would check it out i mean there's a lot i put there's a i put an article in uh mac stories today with just a handful of the ones that i've written about or talked about places before and i don't know it's a good it's a good time to do you know some sort of some sort of budget shopping for apps if you've been thinking about it
yeah well i'm looking at my notebook now where i'm you know writing down our show notes and i also have a note at the top that says go and check this out to see if there's anything on i'm looking for um
yeah it's pretty good
yeah it's pretty good
yeah and it looks like they actually they have sponsors for this website now too which is good that's nice that they have someone to help defray the cost of doing it It's interesting to me.
One of the things they do is, which almost caught me, I almost listed a bunch of apps for sale that weren't for sale because if you scroll down, maybe they changed it because I was looking at it last.
No, they have a bunch of apps here that are not on sale, but that's the ones at the top are on sale.
They talk about what the discount is at the bottom of the little card UI, but then they have a bunch of other ones that have been passed participants that are not currently participants.
So, Just mind yourself there because I think about a third of the list is on sale and about two-thirds of it is not.
yeah but it's pretty it's pretty easy to tell but i personally i think they should maybe hide the ones that are not for sale but i i get that i get what they're trying to do they want to promote everybody's out
yeah i mean and you know it's nobody's nobody's got a gun to anyone's head you don't have to buy anything um but you know
you would think given given what i read online you would think that everybody's got a gun to their head whenever anybody anybody offers a subscription to
You specifically, John.
Yeah.
You have got a gun to everyone's head.
You are causing the problems.
I do.
I do.
I'm also responsible for, I don't know what I'm responsible for this week.
It's, it's, it's been a, it's been a day, but I'm glad that that's out there.
I'm, you know, they do this a couple of times a year and I think it's a good idea and I'm glad that they do it.
