Everton head to Hull City unbeaten in their opening five Premier League matches, and we are sitting seventh, uh, on nine points.

I guess it's not a game where we think or we, we probably think we should go there and win.

I guess it's not gonna be entirely easy, is it? It's gonna be a tough game, as Manchester United found on the first game of the season.

Yeah, I mean, these are a serious opposition, aren't they? Um, I think everyone thought when they got promoted last season that they'd be, be the whipping, the whipping boys in, in some respects.

You know, coming from the playoffs, it's, it's gonna be a lot tougher and stuff like that.

But they've been absolutely superb, haven't they, so far? They've, they've, you know, got points on the board.

Uh, and I think if Everton do get all three points on Sunday, they will have had to work really, really hard for them.

Obviously, look, it's, it's still early days in the season, isn't it, for, for every team.

But based on the first five games, uh, how do you explain a team like Hull, who came up through the playoffs, having a, you know, a really good start, but then the likes of Coventry, who won the Championship, struggling ef- effectively? I mean, it's, it's a tough one to kinda fathom a little bit, isn't it? Because technically Coventry should be the, the better team.

Yeah, I mean, it's always been up though, isn't it? 'Cause that, that can happen from time to time.

And you've also seen it in the past, haven't we, where, you know, a newly promoted club comes up, does really well, then tails off and ends up fighting relegation towards the, you know, towards the back end of the, the year.

And I think the, the thing to take into consideration is there's still a lot of football still to be played, and there's, you know, a very good chance that Frank Lampard and Coventry, for example, could turn it around and, and be comfortably mid-table by the time we get to, you know, February, March.
