ACOTAR - ACOSH: Is the Night Court Cursed? Reasonably Unhinged Theories!

let's do this let's start at the beginning because i know the way that your brain and my brain work is we're going to make connections to overarching bigger like themes and theories and we'll get down that hole um i feel like i just want to say i have seen mixed commentary and mixed reviews and i love this book

I really

do.

Yeah.

It's so funny because I have heard people go, oh my God, it's such a days of our lives.

And I don't get it.

I have a lot of people saying I don't get it.

And yet I'm sitting here going, all the pieces are clicking for me.

Like I can see what's happening.

I can understand the characters and where they're up to.

I feel like people are finding like Asriel's behavior very strange.

Whereas for me, I feel like I can understand him.

I can see him spiraling.

I feel like I understand why he's spiraling.

I feel like the pieces are there to be read.

It's just a simple matter of people picking up.

I think for your readers that maybe don't look at things at the deeper level and pick up on those cues, it's maybe coming across like, whoa, what is this book? What is this book? And I won't lie that this book did dump a lot of information.

It kind of dumped a lot of information on you.

Yes.

yeah it's very dense for 300 something yes

but also you could also lose you could also kind of feel like it's about nothing if you don't pick up on on all that i feel like if you're a deeper reader you're getting it all but if you're a lighter reader you're like hey i'm just here for the vibes like for the first half you're like what's going on like okay azriel and elaine hooked up and then and then reese is telling them no and they're trying to do some kind of they're trying to stop some war you know it's uh i think this book might be a bit harder for the light readers and i think that you need to have read crescent city to kind of absolutely understand it basically

have you seen the number of like bigger um like kayla reads like the bigger bookstagram fantasy fangirls people that have come out and they said they're like by the way we were wrong we said you didn't have to read crescent city before this book you probably, yeah, you need to, if you want to follow along.

And I just went, Where is he going?

We told you guys.

We told you guys in the beginning this was going to happen.
