So I'm French.

So I live in Paris.

I've always have, except for three years of my life where my dad was a diplomat.

So he got sent like all over the place.

And I, so my sister who's older than me got to go into those weird places.

She was born in Japan, for instance, she's French, but she was born in Japan.

And, um, And I didn't travel that much as a kid.

I just went to the States when I was 10.

From 10 to 13, my dad was sent to Detroit.

And I lived there for three years.

Interesting spot.

Nice place.

Yeah.

Although apparently it wasn't RoboCop yet.

So it was okay.

Plus we lived in the suburbs, so it wasn't hardcore at all.

I didn't feel it was.

And so I...

So my dad was a very sort of he was this diplomat where he was kind of a cheap guy.

I can say it now.

And he didn't want, you know, to pay for those fancy schools and stuff.

So he just put me in the local school.

And so I didn't know how to speak English.

I didn't know.

So it was like basically survival.
