So, the book has nine chapters and a final appendix where I try to talk about the signs of the times and how what scripture and tradition tells us about signs that will be there before the Lord returns.

Where are we with all that? But the book begins with a scripture passage, Acts chapter 17, verses 30 to 31.

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all men everywhere to repent because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed.

When the truth about salvation isn't preached or taught clearly, people are in risk of just floating along with the culture or giving into the disordered desires or doing what everybody's doing or doing what seems right in their own eyes rather than taking the narrow road that leads to life.

You know, Jesus did say in Matthew chapter seven, Broad and wide is the way that leads to destruction, and many are traveling that way.

But narrow is the way, and difficult the road that leads to life, and few there are who are finding it.

But in order to be saved, we need to pay attention to what he's asking us to do.
