It is the day after the 2026 midterm elections.
And you all, I am too relieved to even be happy.
Right now, what I am experiencing are full breaths from the belly right now.
And I realized last night as I was watching the returns come in, how I have been not breathing properly.
In fact, I think I've been holding my breath since this motherfucker got in office again.
It's I felt patriotic as fuck last night.
I was singing America the Beautiful, the Ray Charles version, which is the only version that should ever be sung.
In fact, there should be a bill introduced or something where that becomes our national anthem, but I digress.
I felt so patriotic last night.
Finally, finally, we have elected people who will hold this administration accountable and not work for it just themselves and other billionaires.
Most of all, who care about democracy.
People showed up and they showed the fuck out.
This was a historic night.
It was a complete red massacre and I'm here for that.
Tell y'all something about last night.
I was watching every single race.
But as they were coming in, and as I was watching the numbers, I was just in shock.
And that feels amazing.
It feels amazing.
But it also feels like you are starting to walk for the first time.
