Anne-Marie MingoGuestUm, Shirley, I know that you're in Mastery Momentum, so that is what got you access to the institute initially.
But just kind of first thoughts about coming into our world a few years ago and just really embracing the idea of the six pillars and building your life around it.
What was happening, and how did embracing the pillars start to shift things for you?

I had met, uh, Patrice on a TV show that I was helping produce, and I don't know how anybody could not fall in love with her charisma.

But one of my friends happened to be the executive producer, and I was asking her more about what Patrice does.

And my friend, our mutual friend, was like, "You really should talk to her about going through her pillars mastery." And I was like, "What are pillars?" And she explained a little bit, and I'm like, "Well, this sounds interesting." So I thought, I couldn't lose anything because at that point I was like, there was so much going on and at that point my mind is constantly going.

But I, there was this thing missing in my life and I couldn't put my hands on it.

It was, part of it was being fed by people that I had surrounded myself in that season that felt a necessity to consistently put me down, to degrade me, humiliate me, and I accepted that.

And so going through and really understanding where this misalignment was coming from, it made perfect sense when you think about the balance of the six pillars and how there's a reason that all six of those have been identified.

And so going through, I think that was an eight-week virtual at the time, and it just, it was really one of those, oh, this is going on in my space pillar.

You know, it's not just a physical space, it's a mental thing, and, and that person over there needs to go.

And when they went, then it helped clear up space and then it was like, well, now I've got money and wait, if I change...

So I mean, it started to really click as to when one of these are out, all of them are out.

But obviously there are things that we have to be careful about being overwhelmed.

Like, I'm one of those, I'm an overachiever, so I wanted to do all six at one time.

And so building up this idea of understanding these pillars of wealth was so important for the foundation for the other things that I've gone through.

And one of the things that was important for me is to conquer fear of speaking in front of people because, again, I've never had a problem talking.

But when, again, you've constantly built in the back of your mind that you're not worthy to be on a stage, you're not worthy to be in front of people because people were told I didn't have a voice.
