The earth travels about 1.6 million miles each day along its orbit around the sun.

This means that every single day the earth travels 1.6 million miles along its elliptical path around the sun.

And God knows each of those minutes and each of those miles, just as he knows the number of hairs that are on your head, as it says in Matthew 10, verse 30.

The psalmist records how God's thoughts to us outnumber the grains of sand that are on the beach.

Listen, friends, at just the right time, God spoke and created the heavens and the earth in six days.

At just the right time, he promised a forever heritage of the nations to Abraham.

At just the right time, he met Moses in a burning bush and sent him to deliver his people.

At just the right time, he brought the walls of Jericho down with shouts and a trumpet blast.

At just the right time, an angel declared to a virgin that she would have a child by the Holy Spirit.

to rescue us from crimes too numerous to count that we did commit, at just the right time, you breathed your first breath, you took your first step, you uttered your first word, and God knew those events to the day, the minute, and the second before time as we know it began.

Indeed, my friends, the providential power of God operates not one minute too soon nor one minute too late to accomplish all that he intends in love for his people.

Amen? All his redemptive purposes in the world and in your life will be accomplished without delay for, as we've sung about and read about, for your good and for his glory.

In fact, he uses every event, every conversation, every trial to his grand designs for your growth.

Because there is not one rogue molecule in the universe that does not bow to his sovereign rule.
