So I was new to being on this side of it in my 30s after many years being on the other side of it in sales jobs and stuff.

And the past decade especially, the discussion around what should go into a resume? Who do you send your resume to? What should be in there? How should you structure it? Do you put it online? Do you send it to a lot of places? The question and the answers have changed so drastically in the past decade that I feel like a lot of people don't even know anymore what to do.

I mean, this was one of the reasons why we sort of founded Truffle, right? And how do you trust anything? And you're trying to go through some of these resumes.

And you're like, what am I even looking for here? And so that was part of it.

How do you tell if somebody is good from a resume? Funny enough, during that phase, I had interviewed a ton of people.

And the person that we actually ended up hiring did not come from our sort of standard source.

It was somebody who had reached out via email and said, hey, I think I'm really great for this role.
