Michael O'RearHostOkay, so first of all, I would love to say a personal anecdote about ball drop.
When I grew up, I loved a yoga ball, you know? I loved it so much.
And ball drop was such a reminder of that, that I have since, oh, let me get up, have purchased a yoga ball as my desk chair.
Thanks for 99.8 for that inspiration.
But I was like, okay, like...
You know, they're taking away one sense.
I love that like twist on the format, obviously, because going into the show, I was like, OK, like you can't really anticipate what the games are going to be.
You can watch the first season, but they're going to they're going to change up the games completely.
So like you can get a general idea of the genre of games that they're going to throw at you, but you don't really know what it's going to be.
So I anticipated the first game was going to be some kind of there's a pile of something and you have to get the something from the something.
Right.
So I was like, okay.
But blindfolded, I did not anticipate.
So I was like, we're really going to have to use our ears here.
You're going to have to hear the yoga ball fall.
But I was like, then we heard them fall and they all fell at the same time because I forgot about how gravity works, right? So then I was like, oh, you can't really hear like the location of any of these balls.
And they throw confetti at the same time.
So you're like really disoriented.
So my strategy and Kathy and I were, are right by each other in the circle, one person apart.
But my strategy is I'm like, I have to get in there fast.
I just have to run in low because the balls are on the ground and I have to be quick.
So that was my, and that's why you couldn't see me on camera.
I was quick.
I was in and out real quick.
I was probably one of the first 20 people to get a ball.
