i want you to turn in your bible if you will to the book of first corinthians chapter twelve Let me begin reading at verse 27.

I won't read too much of this.

Now, ye are, ye are the body of Christ.

Boy, you really have church with that, couldn't you? Ye are the body of Christ and members in particular.

God hath set some in the church first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, plural, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

Are all apostles? Are all prophets? are all teachers, are all workers of miracles.

Have all the gift of healing.

Do all speak with tongues, do all interpret, but covet earnestly the best gifts, and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels and have not charity, I am become a sounding brass and tinkling cymbal.

Though I have gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains and have not charity or love, I am nothing.

Though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Love suffereth long and is kind.

Love envieth not, love wanteth not itself, and it's not puffed up.

doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, it rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.

Love beareth all things, it believeth all things, it hopeth all things, and it endureth all things.

Love never faileth, but whether they be prophecies, They shall fail.

Whether there be tongues, they'll cease.

Whether there is knowledge, it shall vanish away.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part.

But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

When I was a child, I spake as a child.

I understood as a child.

I thought as a child.

But when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see through a glass darkly.

But then face to face, now I know in part.

But then shall I know even as also I am known.

And now abideth faith, hope, and love, these three.

But the greatest of these is love.

I didn't intend to read that whole chapter, but I kind of feel like it was essential.

I want to deal with just one little phrase from this twelfth chapter.

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps governments, and diversities of tongues.

Let's bow our hearts and pray, shall we? Father, we thank you for the reading of the Holy Scriptures.

And I pray that the anointing of the Holy Spirit will rest on each one of us.

Minister to each one of our hearts.

We're here in camp meeting to receive from your hand.

And I pray that before people leave that they will have received what they've come for.

Holy Spirit, anoint your servant today and hide him behind the cross.

Let us see no man save Jesus, but let us see Jesus.

He said, if we lift you up, you will draw all men to yourself.

Let faith come alive today and let it be a time of receiving, abolish every opposition to faith, fear and doubt and unbelief.

Let it just melt.

As the word is preached and we'll prayerfully Give you praise for all things in jesus name and everybody said amen and amen I want to deal with just those three words in that verse that I re-read God set some in the church Aren't you glad he put him in the church He deals with the word prophets, apostles, teachers, but one thrown right smack dab in the middle, you don't hear much about, after that, miracles.

I want to try to highlight that today.
