I'm gonna give you guys like a brief plot summary of kind of high level view of the book as a whole, and then we're gonna jump in.
We've kind of tried to divide it up into, into parts.
Yeah.
So to start, A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas, this story picks up immediately after the dramatic ending of ACOMAF.
So Feyre Archeron, she has returned to the Spring Court, masking her true identity as the High Lady of the Night Court.
Go off, queen.
Period.
And she has returned to the Spring Court and is playing kind of like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
She is playing the deadly game unbeknownst to Tamlin, and so she's working to uncover information on Hybern's army for her true court, the Night Court, because if you forgot, Tamlin has kind of partnered with Hybern, so that's where she's going.

Oh
And so with the threat of the ruthless King of Hybern h- looming over Prythian, Feyre and Rhysand must navigate complex political waters to unite a fractured land.
So they host a tense summit for the high lords from all seven courts to forge a pretty desperate alliance.
Mm-hmm.
And so they, trust is scarce, and old animosities kind of threaten the coalition before it even begins.
And so meanwhile, the Night Court's inner circ- inner circle hunts for magical artifacts and unexpected allies, including ancient unearthly entities-
Yep
... to neutralize the cauldron-
Mm-hmm
... which is a relic of supreme destructive power wielded by Hybern, which we saw used in ACOMAF pretty crazily.
So know that.
And then the conflict culminates in a massive, brutal battle that tests the strength and resolve of the combined faerie armies.
Its sacrifices run deep as forces clash, leading to a desperate final play where Feyre and Amren work to unbind ancient magic of the cauldron to defeat, um, Hybern's troops.
Feyre serves as a conduit, channeling Rhysand's immense magical power into the cauldron and sealing the cracks after it falls apart.
