Cecilia set aside twelve hundred dollars to find out whether a printed magazine could build trust that her website couldn't. The number that mattered was never the return — it was that she was willing…

So in the last episode, I shared with you a little bit that my group practice actually prints a mental health magazine, and today's episode is bringing you into that whole process, the experiment, the craziness of it all, how it's worked, how it actually works now, and, you know, what the outcomes have been and how interesting and fun it's actually been.

The last episode I talked about how machines really find us, right? In the sense that we are all really working to optimize our websites for, for AI search and everything.

The, the whole landscape has completely changed and all clients find us, that we've moved beyond the Psychology Today, and we've moved beyond, you know, the old playbook in many ways.

And that the new way of really getting found is really about building trust.

And for me, printing a mental health magazine was a really big flex on building trust in the community.

So I'm gonna open things up today, and I'm gonna bring you behind the scenes of what this is like, how it started, and what is actually happening today with that.

So I wanna make it really clear that I'm not telling you to go out and print something or print a magazine or spend a ton of money, that this is not really about me telling you what to do, and I don't want you to take that away from this episode.

I want you to bring into my mindset, into my thinking, to the messiness of it, so maybe you can find your own version of what belongs in your practice, your own version of thinking differently, thinking bigger, thinking about community, thinking about impact, and really ultimately thinking, "How do I build trust that sits outside of an algorithm?" Now, we know how to do this in an office.

We know how to do this in relationship with clients, and it's really difficult to transition that into the business.

And so I really want you to hear that this is about building something bigger and building trust in a very different way.

And this episode's for, you know, the practice owner who keeps hearing maybe, you know, "build community trust" as advice, and then really just wants to see how it works and how it operates, and I'm gonna share you the numbers, the budget and how it all works.
