Firstly...

Many people are gonna be surprised to know that Tom Panos is not a right wing rage baiter.

I've voted for Labor more than I voted for Liberal.

Part of the reason is I was brought up in the Canterbury-Bankstown area.

I was brainwashed by my parents, migrants that had come to Australia in the 60s.

And they said, Gough Whitlam is our man.

You're a Labor man, working class party, right? That's how I was brought up.

However, I'm not married to political parties.

I'm married to common sense.

And if you're asking me the question how bad it is, I think they've got a very low rating.

It's very poor performance.

If you think about what has actually happened since the budget, there's normally when decisions are made, you get one group of people that are happy and one group of people that are very unhappy.

What we've got here is most people, nearly all people are unhappy.

And how do I know that? I've got people that are renting that stop me all the time, that are sending me DMs.

First home buyers, you'd think they'd be happy.

They're not happy, right? People that own real estate, why? They're not happy because you've just told them The equivalent to your kid's ugly.

Your house has just dropped 10, 15%.

No one's happy.

I think we could have gone about this in a far better way.

And the thing that annoys me the most, Phil, is instead of the opportunity that the government had to show leadership and to create some innovative changes to the tax system, All they did is get a monopoly board and try and move things around.

At no stage did they actually say, we got a housing supply issue here.

Let's address it.

And now with these developers all going belly up, the last one is the one the other day up there in the Western Sydney, 15,000 properties on the go there.
