Hey, CEO, Racheal Cook here, founder of The CEO Collective and host of the Promote Yourself to CEO podcast.

And I've been so excited about this series, The Matriarchy Would Never, because this is something that has just a huge topic that I think about constantly, that I'm in conversation about on a regular basis.

And really, I wanted to highlight things that I feel we can do to change the the default setting in the way that business is run.

And I am just running into women all the time who are so frustrated with the same assumptions, the same underlying best practices, the same standard of how to do things.

We are still in a society that does not value the things that we have to take on.

The invisible mental load, all of the invisible work that we do behind the scenes, how we truly are the connective tissue for families.

And the only way to change it is to really shine a big-ass spotlight on it, I think.
