Caroline MolyneuxHostPaul ThorpeHostThe last goal came on Tuesday the 2nd of September in the 74th minute versus MK Dons.
No goals versus Stockport, Sheffield Wednesday, Wycombe, and now Stevenage.
The only league goal that any of our strikers have scored came in our opening game of the season away at Cambridge United.
And as I mentioned though, we were goalless on Saturday in a 1-nil defeat to Stevenage, who, if I'm being perfectly honest, are no different from last season, a very, very uninspiring side.

I mean, I wasn't inspired by them in any capacity the entire way through, but if there was one way to, uh, uninspire more, Wigan found it, sadly.

It didn't look like Scott Hogan even realized he was on the pitch, if I'm totally honest.

I do think that maybe a two striker formation, I guess two times zero is zero, but you never know.

But genuinely, having one up front at the moment, regardless of who it is, just seems to be reaping no rewards whatsoever.

Um, I wouldn't call it terrible because I don't think terrible is really enough to describe it, frankly.
The starting line-up was Whitworth, Carragher, Burns, Chiloke, and Woollin, our back three.
Barrett, Weir, Burrows, with Scott Hogan plowing that lone furrow up front.
Once again, if we look at the stats with six attempts with just one on target, not the way to burst that bubble and get us going again, is it, on the goal scoring sheet.
You'd think after a, a break that maybe we'd come at it and, uh, get a different result, but no, not the way to do it.

If anything, we actually have looked steadily worse since the game against MK Dons.
